Honesty refreshing |

To the editor:
I am writing in hopes that Holly will read this and know how much we appreciate her act of honesty and kindness, it truly does give me hope.
I have not stopped thinking about this since it happened, so I need to get this out there.
On September 17, a woman rang our doorbell and handed over an envelope.
She said that she had found it on the road, and because the envelope had a company logo on it, and there was a company truck outside our home, she thought it may be important.
In fact what Holly had handed over was my husbands pay cheque.
I was in such shock that all I could do was thank her, shake her hand, and ask her name.
She told me that she had just opened up a daycare down the road, but I didn't get any other info.
So Holly, if you are reading this, please know just how grateful we are to you for taking the time to deliver this envelope, I wish there were more honest people like you in this world.
You could have walked by that envelope, and who knows what could have happened after that.
