Ban agressive breeds

To the editor:

Re: Pitbulls Misrepresented.

Really, it's plain and simple, Pitbulls are an aggressive breed. I agree the owners are the problem in some cases, buy not always.

I was out camping in Golden for the long weekend, walking my Scottie and Westie ''on their leashes'', threw the campground, when we were charged and attacked by an unleashed Pitbull.

The owner came running out after his dog yelling that it was OK, "he's not aggressive," at the same time the Pitbull is grabbing my Scottie by the neck.

I can't imagine if my niece or granddaughter we out walking the dogs, what an awful mess that would have been.

Pitbulls should be banned from any public space . One attack on a person or other animal, is once too often, that dog should be destroyed and the owner held fully accountable !
