All words that a thrill seeking holiday adventurer loves to hear. To please those of this disposition why not look into the world's Top 10 Bungee Jump Locations. Add these to your bucket list and talk with your local travel agent about arrangements to each one!

1) Royal Gorge Suspension Bridge, Canon City, Colorado

It's the highest suspension bridge in the world and is 321m (1053ft) above the Arkansas River. Bungee jumping from the bridge takes place during the Go Fast Games once a year, making advance booking a necessity. Hanging above the Arkansas River, this suspended bridge is an all-time favourite bungee-jumping spot because of its amazing height. It spans over the Royal Gorge Route Railway and has a wooden plank-way to walk across the river.

2) Bloukrans Bridge, South Africa

Bloukrans Bridge is a single-span arch in the Western Cape above the Bloukrans River. As part of the Tsitsikamma national park it guarantees fantastic views. You can walk under the road to the top of the arch or use the Flying Fox - a zip wire - which will deliver you at speed to the jump site. The jump of 216m (710ft) is smooth, as it utilises pendulum bungee technology; that makes it the highest commercial bungee jumping venue internationally.

3) Corinth Canal, Greece

The Corinth Canal works as a connector between mainland Greece and the Peloponnese. This is a regular weekend sport organized by the Zulu Bungy in the summer months.

4) Nevis Highwire Bungee, Queenstown, New Zealand

Set between two hills and suspended on steel cables, the jump pod can only be reached by cable car. The drop of 134m (440ft) can be viewed through the car’s glass floor for those just wanting to watch the jumpers during their 8.5 seconds of freefall.

5) Bhote Kosi River, Himalayas, Nepal

A steel suspension bridge connects two sides of a valley through which the Bhote Kosi River races. Here, freefall for 160m (524ft) from the longest Nepalese suspension bridge across one of the scariest tropical gorges, with the Bhote Kosi River rumbling below. After your feet have touched the ground you can experience the river itself with a White Water Rafting adventure to follow !

6) Victoria Falls Bridge, Zimbabwe/ Zambia

The Victoria Falls Bridge over Zambezi River connecting Zimbabwe and Zambia is a perfect spot for bungee jumpers to get up close and personal with the spraying falls. Victoria Falls is a spectacular sight, and stretches more than 1.6km (1m). The bridge is roughly 152m (500ft) above the Zambezi River.

7) Ponte Colossus, Italy

You will find this 350m long bridge awe-inspiring and an inspiring spot for an energetic sport like bungee jumping. It will take you an average of almost 4.5 seconds for the first fall. You need a lot of nerve power to sustain the 100 km/hr vertical velocity of the free fall.

8) Niouc, Switzerland

At 623 ft (190 m) Niouc holds the record for the highest bungee jumping spot in Europe and is the perfect way to begin or end an incredible Swiss journey.

9) Pont de Ponsonnas, France

The older Pont de Ponsonnas Bridge has been now replaced by concrete-built arch Ponsonnas Bridge to give you a thrilling bungee jumping experience with a full 338 ft (103 m) of free falling.

10) Perrine Bridge, USA

There is year round bungee jumping from this bridge connecting the Twin Falls area to the Jerome County. The jump of 486 ft (148 m) is also popular with experienced Base Jumpers.
