RCMP have suspects in mind after a wooded area behind the Johnson Bentley Memorial Pool was set ablaze Tuesday night.
According to police the fire call came in close to 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Cst. Kris Clark says fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire which burned an area about 150 feet by 150 feet.
The fire was contained to a mostly grassy area.
Clark says police have suspects in mind, however, further investigation is required.
Fire crews in West Kelowna have been called out to the area several times in the last six months.
