City's actions 'appalling' |
|
|
To the editor:
How will the residents of Kelowna ever have the final say on the development of the gift of this highly valuable property?
What will happen in 10 or 20 years time when the Simpsons are no longer able to voice their disapproval?
I believe the actions of those members of City Hall engaged in perusing commercial development that is not an enhanced use free of charge for all residents of Kelowna should be forced to resign.
I believe Sharron Shepard lost her campaign to be re-elected as Mayor at least in part as a result of the last sparing match with the Simpsons, and now Walter Gray will have the same political black eye to deal with.
I would hope he would resign as Mayor as obviously no one that would approve such a development has the best interests of those they are elected to serve in mind.
