Canada picked up three more silver medals on Sunday during day four of the Paralympic Games in London.

Leading the way was Briana Nelson of Victoria, who won her second silver in as many days with a second place finish in the Women's 200 metre Individual Medley.

Australia won gold, while China took the bronze.

Montreal's Valérie Grand’Maison also won her second silver of these games with a runner-up finish in the Women's 100 metre Freestyle.  American swimmers took gold and bronze in that event.

In Track and Field, Inuvik's Brent Lakatos missed out on gold by less than half a second in the Men's 400 metre wheelchair race. Lakatos has a chance at four more medals before the games are done.

China took gold in the event, while Australia was third.

Keira-Lyn Frie from Saskatoon just missed out on a medal in her Paralympic debut, finishing 4th in the Women's 5000m. Diane Roy of Sherbrooke finished 9th.

Canada now has 11 medals after four days of competition, including three gold, seven silver and one bronze.
