Leaping Liberals alarming |

To the editor:
With all the high placed Liberals leaving government, one has to ponder why.
Well, for the most part, it is people without spines, who at the first notion that the ship is sinking, they run as fast as they can.
It was fine when they had those important positions, had power, getting a very nice salary and great pensions. To not stay, says something, about their morals and character.
Is it such a terrible position to be in, in opposition? With all these "jumping ship" Liberals going, who is going to make the case for the opposition, if not those who once held the job and could make a good case while in opposition.
Far too many people in BC think that all will be great, when and if, the NDP get back in power. Have they forgotten the bleak years under the NDP?
Should they win, a lot of people are going to be very disappointed at what will actually happen.
No doubt all those labour unions will be expecting big raises, because they have backed the NDP's positions.
Should that happen, think increases in everything included your personal and property taxes.
The biggest fear, is returning to a "have not" province which we most certainly will.
We cannot have all we have without paying for it, it may not be perfect, but it is a damn sight better than the alternative.
