CRIME: THEFT OF MOTORCYCLE

DATE: August 10, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-43076

West Kelowna RCMP received a report of a garage that had been broken into sometime in the early morning hours of August 10, 2012. The garage, located on the 1400 block of West Kelowna Road, contained an extremely distinctive Harley Davidson motorcycle. The thieves broke out a small panel of the garage door, unlocked the door and left with the bike, two older Samsung flatscreen TV’s and two boxes of hockey cards. The motorcycle is a custom black 2002 1450 CC Harley Davidson with BC license plate # S72476, with many upgrades and valued at about $70,000.00.

CRIME: THEFT OF BICYCLE

DATE: August 15, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-44354

A one of a kind to Canada bike was stolen from West Kelowna during the early hours of Wednesday, August 15, 2012. The bike was taken from an attached garage on the 2500 block of Cobblestone Road near Pebble Place. Be on the watch for a 2011 7-speed Intense 951 downhill racing bike. The bike is bright blue with blue handlebars and white wheels, has serial number VM107474 and is worth $6500.00.
