Big Brother's Wil goes out with a bang

Wil Heuser, Big Brother’s outspoken Fabio lookalike, knew there was a secret alliance that wanted him out but he couldn’t figure out who belonged to it in time to save himself.

He was ousted last night in the live eviction show by a vote of 6-2.

Instead of my normal preamble let’s just get right to the interview, as it's so full of goodies you'll want to dig in right away.

I had the chance to speak with Wil this morning, and he did not disappoint.

This is fantastic stuff, Big Brother fans. Enjoy!

Castanet: Who in the house is the most removed personality wise from the way they are in everyday life?

Wil: I think it’s a giveaway. It’s gotta be Jenn. I got along with her really well personally, but she definitely I think she felt more isolated than anyone in the house. She was getting more comfortable in clicking with several of the houseguests as time went along. I think it may be part of her strategy, you know to lay low.

Castanet: Looking back, if you can go back and make one move you wish you would have made, what would it be?

Wil: I definitely think I would have not lied to Frank and Mike the 3rd week. I would have stuck with my scheme… I didn’t need to make any big moves… I decided to get in and play foolishly. I think I’m a pretty good liar, and I think I gave too many of my cards away with that move. I should have hold on to those cards a lot longer.

Castanet: Are you able to fill us in on any of the Zingbot’s zings that they didn’t show us?

Ok, ok… here’s mine: What do you call Fabio without the good looks, muscles or sex appeal? Wil. Zing!

Castanet: Groan! Not so much of a zing.

No, I expected a little bit more.

Castanet: What was Dan’s?

Something along the lines of his coaching and pumping up of Danielle making the Zingbot nauseated? It wasn’t that good.

Castanet: What was your opinion of Dan? To me it doesn’t seem like he’s been all that great of a player this season.

No, I kind of feel he IS. He’s playing like he was playing in Season 10. He’s laying low, he’s being more of a sideline support, and he’s making a lot of his moves through Danielle.... I think he’s probably in the best position right now because the not-so-silent 6 won’t put him on the block. I think he’s poised to win it again!

Castanet: Who has the best chance of winning right now?

Call me crazy, but I have this instinct that if Ashley doesn’t get voted out in the next couple weeks she’s going to be in the top 2 spots. I was pulling for Frank, but he’s fallen prey to Mike and now I don’t know. My money is on Ashley.

Castanet: Who would you like to see win?

Dan has positioned himself to win, I didn’t fall for it, but if all the houseguests are going to fall for it and going to be fools – let him win it. If they’re foolish enough to keep him in the game it’s fair to see he should win.

Castanet: Thoughts on Ian? And can you answer the question in your Sharon Osbourne voice?

[Answers in his Sharon Osbourne voice] I was so confused about Ian at first, it was horrible. We all wanted to cut off his head and eat his eyeballs, too.

[Comes out of his Sharon Osbourne voice] But really though, coming out of the house, he’s one of the greatest people. The first 2 weeks he was not well-liked, he was doing a lot of weird moves and not getting to know us. He would hide in the bathroom and spy on our conversations and you never knew if he was going to be under the couch or under the mattress or anything. He’s come out of his shell and I really hope he lasts long in this game.

Here is how the rest of the Q&A went down:

If you had won HOH who would you have nominated and who would have been your target?

I would have put up Mike and Dan with an option to backdoor Shane or Frank. I would want Dan to go, but if I couldn’t get either of them it would be Shane or Frank. You can disable Mike a lot by getting rid of Frank and disable Frank by getting rid of Mike. They’re working well together but you get rid of one of them and you get rid of a huge threat in the house.

What advantage did you see in evicting Janelle?

There wasn’t really an advantage to doing it, but I saw an opportunity to get myself off the block. She was just consequently the person that went up. We were just trying to avoid getting a target on our back. It would have been great to have kept Janelle in. You got to do what you think is right at the time. She wasn’t really… she was not well liked by any of the houseguests. Not sure how she was portrayed in editing but she was definitely… if she wasn’t one of the most disliked person she was THE most disliked person in the house. She didn’t take any interest in getting to know any of us on a personal level. When you talked to her it was all about Janelle. Her strategy of butt-kissing, I think everyone caught in to it and it was blatant and not genuine.

Are you aware that the allegations of Willie making homophobic slurs about you were a fabrication by Frank?

I actually took Joe aside and told him that I thought it was being played up but I just rolled with it because I thought it would get me a sympathy card. As terrible as that sounds, I don’t think that Willie was being mean or homophobic, I don’t think he’s that kind of person. He may be an aggressive and violent person, but I don’t think he had anything really against me.

Why didn’t you tell Mike and Boogie what they wanted to hear?

It was frustrating… I knew there was a big alliance, but I didn’t know who. I just didn’t want to say anything that would make me a bigger target. I feel like I would have been a target regardless, they are just picking people off right now, but if I was gonna go out I wanted to do it with my head held high with my integrity still intact. When you’re dealing with Frank and Mike you’re really just dealing with Mike. Frank is just Mike’s sock puppet; I think that he was one of the strongest players in the house, but shot himself in the foot. He had a golden opportunity to make one of the biggest moves of the season by using the POV and getting Dan out – one of the greatest players in BB history – but instead he decided to do what Mike wanted to do and play it safe.

What was the best part of being in the house?

I think the best part of the house was having all the personalities. I think the casting this year, there were so many really unique people in the house and it was such a pleasure to get to know all of them. They’re all A+ people and standup guys and gals. Hopefully friends for life… who knows?

Any personal opinions about Danielle’s “showmance” with Shane?

I don’t want to… when it comes to that, it’s probably the least genuine thing in the house. Shane, quite frankly, he’s nasty to Danielle. He says a lot of hurtful comments, he’ll kiss her when the moment’s right to make a point for the show but any chance he gets to dispel it in front of her he does. It’s hurtful. She just genuinely wants to be his friend, she has someone back in Alabama she really cares about, and he leads on for the camera and just be a total jerk to her.

Were you tempted by any of the guys?

I don’t want to sound hurtful to the houseguests but no one in the house is to my taste.
