KSS grad helps BC to rugby title

Team BC won gold today in the under-18 division at the Canadian Rugby Championships which were held at Bishop's University in Sherbrooke, Quebec.

Former KSS grad Cole Mosychuk was a part of the BC squad which steamrolled past Alberta 40-16 in the Gold Medal game Sunday, completing an undefeated run at the nationals.

The team's lopsided run through the tournament included a 55-0 trouncing of Newfoundland, a 48-0 white wash of Manitoba and 27-0 win over Nova Scotia.

Ontario 1 provide the toughest opposition on Saturday, losing 25-19 to the eventual champs.

Ontario would go on to take the bronze.
