UPDATE THURSDAY, AUGUST 9: Trail RCMP has confirmed that the missing 14-year-old girl from Trail has been located safe and sound. Sources tell Castanet she was located in Enderby.
-------------------
Trail RCMP Detachment are seeking the public's assistance in locating a 14-year-old girl, Morgan Durocher.
On July 30, Durocher walked away from her Foster Home in Warfield, near Trail. She may have been looking to meet up with her boyfriend in Nelson.
Durocher has previously run away and may be in the Nelson/Castlegar area.
Police have no reason at this time to believe she has come to any harm, however, due to her age, active attempts are being made to locate her as soon as possible.
Morgan Durocher is described as:
- 14 years old
- 5' 05" (165 cm) tall
- 101 lbs. (46 kg)
- long brown hair and green eyes
- wears horizontal bar braces on her teeth
Should you see Durocher, RCMP ask that you not approach her, but contact the local Police Department or RCMP Detachment.
