Quite a scene near Big White Tuesday after a motorcycle rider crashed his bike on Big White Road near Snowpine Way.

Members of the Big White Fire Department were called to the scene after the rider apparently hit some loose gravel and plunged down a two metre embankment.

Fire crews were forced to extricate the man after he became pinned under his bike.

A BC Ambulance helicopter was called in from Kamloops to transport the man to Kelowna General Hospital.

He was treated for undetermined, non-life threatening injuries.
