Fire crews in Kaleden have confirmed they are on site of a forest fire near White Lake road and St. Andrews by the Lake Golf Course. 

Forest fire crews are on site, and three more are on route.  Fire Information Officer Kayla Pepper says the blaze is within the Kaleden jurisdiction, and wildfire management branch will just be assisting them.

"There will be a total of seven personnel and a helicopter on site."

The fire is burning as a ground fire, in grass, and has not spread to nearby trees. Pepper says it's unclear how large the fire is at this time.

It's not known how the blaze was started. 

Fire crews in Okanagan Falls are on stand-by.
