The accolades keep coming in for Big White.

The ski resort was recently named the 'Family Ski Resort of the Year' for 2012 by Australia's leading ski publication, Snow Action Magazine.

The magazine's recently released 'Snow Travel Bible,' lists a complete A to Z list of reasons why Big White was named the top family resort.

"We are all thrilled that Big White has been given the distinction of top family resort," says Big White Senior Vice-President, Michael J. Ballingall.

"Our mission has always been to ensure that we do everything we can to make the family ski resort experience a great one.

Ballingall says Australia is a key market for Big White where, each year, hundreds of Aussies put away their swimsuits and pack up their snow boots for this favourite winter destination.

He adds Aussies have easy access to the ski hill with non-stop flights into Kelowna from Seattle, Vancouver and, starting in December, Los Angeles.
