Serious crash sends rider to hospital
A motorcycle rider is in hospital with life-threatening injuries as a result of a two vehicle crash on Skaha Lake Road Monday afternoon.
The crash, involving a Honda motorcycle and a small blue Pontiac, occurred at the entranceway to Sun Leisure Mobile Home Park.
RCMP say the motorcycle was westbound on Skaha Lake Road while the vehicle was pulling out from the side street when the two collided.
According to police alcohol was not a factor, however, speed and driving behaviour are considered factors.
South Okanagan Traffic Services based out of Keremeos are investigating as injuries are considered life-threatening.
Police ask anyone who may have seen the collision or witnessed the driving behaviour of either vehicle prior to the crash to call them at 250-499-2250.
