Fatigue likely cause of Hwy 33 crash

An early morning crash sent one person to hospital after they lost control of the car they were driving, causing it to rollover on Highway 33 in Joe Rich.
The Joe Rich Fire Department responded to the call at at 5:23 a.m., July 7.
When they got to the scene on Highway 33, just west of Hawk road in Joe Rich, they found a heavily damaged vehicle and debris scattered along the road.
Joe Rich fire officials say the driver was the lone occupant of the car and suffered non life threatening injuries. The person was later transferred to Kelowna General Hospital.
They also report that the initial investigation indicates the driver might have fallen asleep at the wheel.
