Reading the testimonies of friends and family of the young girl pimped out by her stepfather, I am horrified that no one took action.

Statements like the brothers, after witnessing the disturbing behaviour, said they distanced themselves from the family, and I believe it was the aunt, who said "I begged my landlord to let me move because I was afraid my children were next," not to mention the witness who claims he was keeping track of their comings and goings around the hooker stroll, because of suspicions.

People, what is wrong with you? Why did you not report these people?

And the mother, why did everyone just ignores this poor girl's abuse?

The mother should be on trial as well, turning a blind eye while your husband uses your little girl for personal gratification and financial gain.

I am so sad that so many people who should have been protecting this child could just look out for their own interests, and so glad you are not my relatives.

I am praying for this little girl, that there can be healing for her and that she be able to move on.
