Highway 3 is closed at Princeton because of a vehicle incident.

A Castanet viewer in the area reports that just before 3 p.m. there was a single vehicle accident and a single person might have been trapped.

It was reported the vehicle also caught fire and that someone might have died.

DriveBC is suggesting a detour for traffic via Old Headly Road. The estimated time of Highway 3 opening is 6 p.m. with a low confidence level.
