CRIME: BREAK AND ENTER TO GARAGE

DATE: June 27, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-32446

One man’s misfortune is a good reminder to the rest of us as to how much power one little garage door remote has. The victim’s truck was parked in front of the garage at the rear of a home on the 2200 block of Rhondda Court. The truck was accessed overnight and had the remote, a GPS system and a radar detector taken. The garage was then entered and a motorcycle box, motorcycle jacket, three firearms and keys to four motorcycles were stolen. The firearms include two 303 infantry rifles and one 12 gauge shotgun.
