Cabbie should do more than wait

To the editor:

Re: Cabbies don't work for free.

You bet cabbies shouldn't work for free, I totally agree.

If the cab driver is really busy and there is a lot of fares out there then he should have gotten out of his/her cab and walked to the door to get the fare and not wait to charge more.

I have been in cabs and they seem to think you are a tourist or to drunk to notice that they are taking the long away around which in turn takes more money out of my pocket.

Lots of cabs are just sitting around town waiting for a fare, so if your to lazy to get out of your cab then charge a $2.00 fee and go get it.

Exercise does a body good.
