Letters to the editor

Liquor should also have warning labels

To the editor:

I was just wondering why they have the right to put unsightly pictures on cigarette packages, but liquor bottles have nothing.

Since when is it that alcohol doesn't cause car accidents, depression, violence, sclerosis of the liver and other problems.

Yet, it gets its own store and still gets advertised on TV.

Smoking doesn't change our personalities, or do we harm anyone but ourselves.

As far as I'm concerned, that was a huge waste of money. Smokers aren't going to quit buying them because of the pictures, and they're not going to stop smoking from looking at a picture on a box.
