Don't paint all grads the same |

To the editor:
I’m writing to let the public know that this year’s OKM Grad class is as remarkable a group of students you will find at any school in BC.
I am not an employee of OKM, nor a relative of any student at the school. I know a large number of them through the community.
The majority have morals, caring and goodness to a high degree.
I am not excusing any inappropriate actions while partying; they should be held accountable. In fact, they are the type of group that would feel terrible.
I have no information about their party (and likely the media doesn’t have all the facts) but most often the damage at any party (adult or teen) is generally done by a small few, often in the hours when most partiers have left.
Should it be the case the majority of the Grads were responsible (though my experiences with them suggest otherwise) then certainly they deserve the bad press and they will take to heart the lesson learned.
