Police in Penticton seized a variety of drugs from a residence during a search warrant.

On June 19 officers searched at home in the 2400 block of south Main Street, inside they found and arrested a 40-year-old man and a 17 year-old girl.

According to Cpl. Myhre the officers seized a substantial quantity of cocaine, a smaller amount of ecstasy (MDMA) and Marijuana. Cash and trafficking related items were also found.

Myhre says the girl was later released with no charges to a parent.

"The 40-year-old man was held for a bail hearing in which he was released on strict bail conditions, as he is facing charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of marijuana and ecstasy."

During a search of the residence a 22-year-old man from Kamloops showed up at the house and was found to have warrants for his arrest plus he was out after his probation curfew so he was also arrested and he was held for court on June 21 facing three new charges.
