CRIME: STOLEN ROCK HAMMER

DATE: June 12, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-29229

Thieves targeted a construction site near Gellatly Road and Boucherie Road in the early hours of June 12, 2012. They stole a 2008 HH75 John Deere Work Site Pro Hydraulic Breaker attachment for an excavator. It seems the thieves used the excavator to load the attachment to a waiting truck on Boucherie Road. The Rockhammer weighs approximately 1000 pounds and is valued at $15,000.00.

CRIME: STOLEN ATV

DATE: June 8, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-28384

On June 8, 2012 an employee of a development company reported the theft of an ATV from a metal container located at the back of a property on Asquith Road in West Kelowna. The theft had occurred sometime in the week prior to the report being filed. The ATV is a green 2008 Polaris Ranger Razor 800 (VIN 4XAVH76AX8D332675) and is worth about $25,000.00.
