RCMP have three men in custody after what they call a 'significant' drug bust in Quail Ridge earlier this week.
On Monday, following a lengthy investigation into several suspected drug dealers, officers arrested three men for trafficking.
After arresting a 34-year-old Kelowna man, police seized about 285 grams of heroin and a large quantity of cash.
A second man, Daryl Manuel, 25, was arrested leaving a home on Country Club Drive in Quail Ridge. He was found to be in possession of 35 grams of heroin.
After obtaining a search warrant for the home, police found large quantities of crack cocaine, soft cocaine, heroin, marijuana along with cash and two sets of body armour.
Further arrests were made inside the home including the resident Joshua Lambrecht, 21.
In all, police seized about 1.5 lbs of cocaine, 396 grams of heroin, 116 grams of marijuana and $12,000 in cash.
Lambrecht and Manuel were both charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
A charge of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking is also being recommended against the third man.
Lambrecht was also issued two violation tickets of $288 each for possessing body armour without a permit.
This is not Lambrecht's first brush with the law. A province-wide warrant was issued for him out of Vernon for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.
