Court officials setting media rules for a preliminary hearing for a Penn State assistant football coach accused of molesting boys will let reporters in the courtroom electronically relay reports of the testimony in real time.

Jerry Sandusky is charged with more than 50 counts of child sex abuse involving 10 boys. The 67-year-old acknowledges showering with boys but says he didn't molest them.

An order posted Monday says reporters will be allowed to e-mail, send text messages and tweet from their laptop computers and handheld devices from inside the courtroom in Centre County.

News organizations including The Associated Press had sought to change an earlier court decorum order banning the wireless communication but allowing laptops for note-taking only.

No recording of Tuesday's proceedings may take place.
