The employees of Scotiabank in Kelowna are hoping to have a big impact on the coffers of the Salvation Army Saturday.
Staff are ringing the bells at 3 locations on Saturday, December 10, and Scotiabank is matching the funds raised to a maximum of $15,000 dollars.
“We meet with people every day trying to help them reach their goals. Some of those we meet really struggle for a brighter future," says Gladys Fraser, Branch Manager of Scotiabank – Kelowna Main Branch.
"This is a little thing that we can do that could make a big difference for someone else. It is one of our core values to make our community a better place to live and work and this is one way we can do so by partnering with The Salvation Army.”
Scotiabank employees will be volunteering at Orchard Place Liquor Store, Mission Liquor Store and the Real Canadian Superstore in Kelowna. You can also give by visiting the Team Scotia ikettle online or FilltheKettle.com to donate at the kettle locations above.
The Salvation Army is grateful to corporate partners like Scotiabank that are making such difference this Christmas when so many people are struggling.
