Oh 'deer'

Mladen Tegazes was on a early-morning bike ride Saturday August 27 when he came across a spectacular sight.

Two fawns and a mother deer were crossing Rotary Marsh behind the Dolphins on their way to a morning breakfast.

"It was a cute scene; the fawns joined their mother after swimming across the marsh and then they all started having breakfast."

Tegazes stopped and watched the family of deer for about two minutes.

"The mother was licking the fawns and cleaning them up after they came out of the water."

Tegazes was able to capture the moment on video and decided to send it in to Castanet for more people to enjoy.

The nature sighting added a little something extra to a regular morning bike ride for Tegazes that day.
