Mexican Bean Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1 Can Old El Paso Refried Beans
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Pkg. Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 Tsp. Lemon Juice
  • Chopped White and/or Green Onions (Optional)
  • Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • Tortilla Chips (Multigrain or Regular)

 

Preparation:

In a 10" x 10" casserole dish, spread the refried beans in an even layer. Next, mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, taco seasoning mix and lemon juice. Spread in an even layer over the refried beans. Top with enough grated cheddar cheese to cover the taco layer. At this point, you can bake/microwave the dip until the cheese has melted OR you can add chopped white and/or green onions over the cheese layer and then bake/microwave it until the cheese melts OR add green onions to the dip after baking it. Serve with tortilla chips and hot sauce (if you so desire). Enjoy!
