High-flying planes are leaving plumes of chemical-laden clouds that spread across the sky, then fall to the earth. Unlike contrails that disappear soon after they leave the plane, these hang around. They may contribute to the increase in respiratory illnesses and dementia.
A new website carries pictures of chemtrails from throughout the province. Below is one of several shots submitted by Eva Lyman of Celista. The aim of the website is "to monitor and track the criminal toxic chemical spraying of Beautiful British Columbia's land and people."
Since 1997 when they first appeared over Salmon Arm and Vancouver, I have been the only one who has been exposing them in this column in my newspaper. Many people thought I was a kook. Some still do.

BIRDS, FISH, DYING SUDDENLY
Are chemtrails killing nature’s creatures? On New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, 2010, 5,000 red-winged blackbirds dropped out of the sky in Beebe, Arkansas. In England, tens of thousands of dead crabs washed up on local beaches, and reports came in almost daily of penguins, turtles, and even dolphins dying unexpectedly in the wild.
In Jan. 2011, dead birds fell from the sky above Arkansas, Louisiana and Sweden, and 83,000 dead fish were washed ashore on Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.
DR. LOFFLER CURES HEEL SPUR
A 74-year-old man at the coast had a painful heel spur. His doctor offered a pain killer or surgical heel scraping. The man refused both and said he’d see his naturopath in Salmon Arm.
He phoned Dr. Loffler and asked to see him. The doctor said he was to follow his list of foods and come to see him in five days, on Good Friday. The man ate a fruit in the morning and raw vegetables the rest of the day. He cut out starches, sugars and proteins. When he walked into the doctor’s home office on Good Friday, he stomped the floor with his heel and said it’s gone! His spur was gone.
MILK IS ONLY FOR CHILDREN

HORSE THERAPY IN KAMLOOPS
Life-changing workshops are given at Gateway 2 Ranch near Kamloops. An ad in www.okinhealth.com says Liz Mitten Ryan is an expert on horse herd language and horse communication.
Go to www.lizmittenryan.com and see pictures of people who lay on a platform and horses nuzzle the body, perhaps the part that has pain. Go to slideshow, and click on a picture to advance to the next one. How does she get so many horses to lay down at the same time?
Fascinating!
A $16-MILLION ELECTION IS COMING
We just finished an election to choose a new premier for B.C. (Christy Clark on Feb. 26) and now we are ramping up to a federal election on May 2.
Stephen Harper has been prime minister since 2006.

A SURPRISED EDUCATION MINISTER
After thanking everyone for the support during his run for the top spot in the province, George said he and his colleagues are impressed with Christy Clark as premier. “She’s a bundle of energy and she chairs a good meeting.”
SILVERBACKS HOCKEY ACTION
I attended a hockey game on March 22nd during the playoffs against Vernon Vipers. It had been many years since I was at a game.
Someone tried getting a wave going through the full house but people were too engrossed in the game.
A drum was used for cheering, but oh, it was hard on my ears! The sound was amplified by my hearing aids.
Some people need to learn not to go to or from their seats while the game is in play. Wait for the whistle to blow.
SIPPING BEER WITH PATRICK RILEY
I knew so few people at the hockey game. Ten years ago when the SilverBacks were formed and I was at every game, I knew nearly everyone. It's not the same in retirement from newspaper ownership, so I walked around the top level of the arena during the second intermission and met my old friend, E-Z Rock’s morning motormouth Patrick Riley. We exchanged hugs and air kisses and visited as we sipped our beer.
STOP FLUSHING BUTTS, KLEENEX
A study of the use of water by Canadians found that 72 per cent say they get rid of hair, bugs, cigarette butts, and food by flushing them down the toilet. Canadians are urged to find other ways to dispose of them because each flush uses 20 litres of fresh water that has been treated and moved.
Canada has partnered with the United Nations Water for Life Decade. Parts of Canada are experiencing water scarcity, like Saskatchewan and the Okanagan.
