Fall down bank along Riverside Drive requires low-angle rescue by fire department

In all, nine firefighters from station 374 responded.
A low-angle rescue was needed after someone fell down a bank along Riverside Drive in Trail Wednesday afternoon.
Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue’s station 374 (Trail) received a call to assist BCAS for a person who had fallen down a bank.
“Upon arrival crews found a patient with injuries that required a low angle rescue,” said KBRFR captain Grant Tyson in a statement. “The patient was handed off to BCAS in stable condition.”
In all, nine firefighters from station 374 responded.
