Interior Health has confirmed a third crow has tested positive for the West Nile virus.
The bird was discovered with the virus over the weekend.
IHA officials would not say exactly where the discovery was made except to say it was in the Central Okanagan between Lake Country and Peachland.
Back on August 12, the health authority announced two birds had tested positive for the virus, the first two positive tests detected in the province.
The virus is spread by mosquitoes that have fed on an infected bird. The disease can sicken people, horses, many types of birds and other animals.
