Two people are in the care of Emergency Social Services after an electrical fire Monday night.
The Kelowna Fire Department responded to a fire in a crawl space of a fourplex on Sexsmith Road at 7:47 p.m.
"It appears an overloaded electrical circuit overheated causing a small fire," says Assistant Chief Lou Wilde.
There was no structural damage but the fire emitted smoke throughout all four units.
ESS was contacted to look after two displaced residents of the affected unit.
Meantime, at 9:36 p.m. Monday the Kelowna Fire Department responded to a suspicious fire in a utility trailer on fire on Findlay Rd.
The trailer was full of garbage and yard waste ready to go to the landfill.
RCMP attended the scene.
