RCMP have temporarily suspended the search for 25-year-old Cole Barr.
The Kelowna man fell overboard 10 days ago while wake surfing with four friends on Okanagan Lake.
The operator of the boat abruptly slowed down the boat while they were heading back to the Eldorado boat launch.
Barr was standing up in the boat at the time and fell overboard.
The other occupants searched for about an hour before driving back to shore and calling police.
RCMP and Search and Rescue teams have been searching the area near Bertram Creek where Barr is believed to have entered the water.
Due to rough waters, the search was called off early Thursday.
Crews will resume the search on Tuesday.
