A couple of overnight dumpster fires in Kelowna are looking like arsons.

RCMP say they've had no success so far Friday morning, chasing down at least one suspect, after dumpsters were reported afire near both the Mekong and Kelsey's restaurants.

The two incidents, both near the intersection of Harvey and Gordon, got a fast response from Kelowna Fire Department crews.

Both happened within minutes of each other, around 3:30 a.m.

Staff Sergeant Terry McLachlan says anyone witnessing the incidents should contact the Kelowna RCMP or Crimestoppers.
