Trail police responded to a call that left a man wondering where he was and how he got to a residence in the 2000 block of Cook Avenue in Rossland.
Officers said that someone reported seeing a man run full speed and headfirst into the side of a home on April 19, just after 2 p.m.
Police and EHS tended to a 30-year-old Rossland man with a head injury who, unsurprisingly, did not remember how he ended up on the neighbour’s property. No homes were harmed by the result of the collision.
Although it would be cool in real life, it's important to note that the portal to Hogwarts, as seen in the Harry Potter movies, is but a myth, said Sgt. Mike Wicentowich of the Trail RCMP.
“He was using and not using his head during this incident," he said.
The man later admitted that he was under the influence of a drug. EHS later transported the man to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital for a medical assessment.
