Trail RCMP officers were left confused and concerned after responding to a call on April 12 in Fruitvale
Trail RCMP said that they received a report on April 12 just after midnight regarding tree stumps being left on Bluebird Road and Walnut Avenue in Fruitvale.
The responding officer reportedly discovered tree stumps, rocks and sign signpost laid across the road after attending the scene.

Officers reported seeing rocks, branches and a sign pole laid out in the middle of the road in Fruitvale.
RCMP have said that, although this was likely a prank, if a vehicle were to strike the obstacles, it could have resulted in serious injuries.
‘We asked the pranksters to please refrain from this kind of prank that could cause vehicle damage or injury to the vehicle occupants," said Sgt. Mike Wicentowich of the Trail RCMP.
