A memorial page has been set up on Facebook in the memory of the Lake Country teen killed in a tragic accident Wednesday afternoon.

Nearly 600 people have joined the group honouring the memory of 15-year-old Josie Evans.

She was walking home from George Elliot Secondary School at about 4:30 Wednesday when she was hit by a pick-up truck.

It was raining and foggy at the time of the accident.

Funeral services for Josie Evans will be held Thursday, January 21 at 4 p.m. at Willow Park Church, 439 Highway 33 W.
