A drug deal gone bad has sent a Central Okanagan woman to hospital.
Just before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, a 47-year-old Kelowna woman was engaged in a drug transaction involving a blue and white Chev Blazer.
Constable Steve Holmes says the Blazer was parked in the 1300 block of Gordon Drive.
"The victim grabbed on to the vehicle after the dealer failed to give the victim the drugs she had purchased, and started driving away," says Holmes.
He says the victim was dragged a distance before falling and was struck by the rear tire of the Blazer.
"The victim could not provide a description of the vehicle's occupants."
She was taken to hospital for treatment of non life threatening head injuries.
