A Kelowna citizen came upon an injured male on Sandpiper Street in the Chute Lake Road area.

The male was identified as the missing person, James Black.

Black went missing early Wednesday morning.

His vehicle was located with no person inside in the 5000 block of Chute Lake Road.

RCMP and Search and Rescue continued their search until today’s discovery.

Black was transported to Kelowna General Hospital by ambulance where he received further medical attention and now remains in stable condition.

RCMP’s investigation into this matter is continuing.
