Police have identified the pedestrian who was killed after a collision in Kelowna over the weekend.
Matthew Heenan, a 23-year-old resident of Coldstream, was struck by a vehicle in the intersection of Water Street and Ellis Street just after 2 a.m. Sunday.
Corporal Lee Hamilton says a 47-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being investigated for impaired driving.
Charges are pending upon completion of the ongoing investigation.
