In consultation with Interior Health Authority, Glenmore-Ellison Improvement District (GElD) is removing the temporary Water Quality Advisory for residents in the McKinley Landing area as of 4 p.m. Wednesday, November 18.
The advisory was issued for 48 hours on Monday, November 16 due to a temporary increase in Okanagan Lake turbidity, likely caused by high winds.
Note: A long-term WQA still remains for residents in the Glenmore, Quail Ridge, UBCO, Dry Valley Road, or Ellison areas
This does not include residents in the McKinley Landing area.
GEID measures turbidity levels daily and provides current turbidity levels on our website:www.glenmoreellison.com.
