Producers for the reality show X-Weighted are looking for one more Kelowna family to fill a slot for the show's upcoming season.

Alison Love of Gabriel Films Inc. sent an email to Jon Summerland of the Okanagan Film Commission, saying the show still needs one more family willing to get fit on camera.

"Who knew it was so hard to find overweight families who want to get fit," she says.

Families who are interested must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be tired of living an unhealthy lifestyle
  • You must have children between the ages of 8 to 17
  • You must live within one hour driving time of Kelowna

Interested families can download the application form at show's website.

X-Weighted will start filming the show in January, 2010. The reality series runs on Slice TV.
