Good news for those people who were unable to get tickets to the Brooks and Dunn concert in Penticton next month.

General Manager Curtis Webb says more tickets have been released for the sold out October 16 show.

“After extensive discussions with the agent and promoter of the show, we've added some seats, seeing as how this is their last tour,” says Webb.

He says they've also released some standing room tickets.

“Above the main seating section, above the main concourse, just like you have for Vees hockey games. We just felt like this was a good opportunity for people to come in with lesser priced tickets, it's a $60 ticket to stand, it adds more seats.”

Tickets are on sale now at the ValleyFirst website or at the South Okanagan Events Centre box office.

Officials at the SOEC say there are about 150 standing room tickets and 100 seats, but they are all going fast.

Gord Bamford will be opening up for Brooks and Dunn.
