Kelowna man writes troops tribute

A Kelowna songwriter has composed a musical tribute to Canadian soldiers, veterans and their families titled "To Our Canadian Troops."

Dennis LeClair has a goal of providing 450,000 copies of it to every Canadian soldier and veteran and their family.

LeClair recorded it with the 63-member Grade 3-5 choir from Anne McClymont Elementary and says a T.V. show displaying all the soldiers lost in Afghanistan inspired him.

He is hoping corporate sponsors will come forward and buy the CDs so they can be donated to the soldiers and their families.

The song can be heard online.
