A new chair is taking a seat with the 2009 Central Okanagan United Way Campaign.

Dennis Gabelhouse, general manager of CHBC NEWS, is a long-time resident of Kelowna.

He has been a member of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce board and served as President of the Okanagan Mission Rotary Club.

“We’re thrilled to have Dennis leading the campaign this year,” says United Way Campaign Manager, Leitha Cosentino. “He brings a wealth of marketing, media and fund raising knowledge to our team that is unique to his background. Everyone involved with United Way is excited about the chance to work with Dennis on the upcoming campaign.”

The annual United Way Campaign will officially kick-off for 2009 on September 18 at the Coast Capri Hotel.
