Police have issued surveillance photos in hopes someone can identify culprits who broke into a local business in the wee hours of January 8.
Around 3:30 a.m., two males driving a stolen Red Jeep Cherokee broke through the front window of "X10SION" at 207 Bernard.
"The two males were driving a Red Jeep Cherokee, that had been stolen from a residence on Richter St. earlier in the evening," says Constable Steve Holmes. "The suspects entered the business, taking a large quantity of clothing and designer sunglasses, and destroying other merchandise in the process. The value of the merchandise is believed to be in the thousands of dollars."
Holmes says the stolen Jeep was later recovered on Patterson Ave at around 9 a.m. the same day.
"Images, from the surveillance video, have been isolated and we are issuing them for public viewing in the hopes that someone may recognize the suspects or have information regarding the incident," says Holmes.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Kelowna Detachment at (250)762-3300, or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
