WestJet is expanding its non-stop summer service from Kelowna to Calgary and Edmonton.

The airline has announced its enhanced summer schedule which will include five daily flights from Calgary to Kelowna and four flights daily from Edmonton to Kelowna.

The expanded service begins in July.

"One of our original five destinations, Kelowna has always been a loyal supporter of our business, and we are pleased to offer new services that help meet the demands of the area's growth, says WestJet Executive Vice-President, Bob Cummings.

"Kelowna is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts and business people alike and, with WestJet's additional daily flights from Calgary and Edmonton, we look forward to making it accessible to even more people."
