Thieves break in, drink milk

Breaking and entering must be thirsty work.

Lumby RCMP are searching for suspects who broke into a home on Hurt Road last week and drank the resident’s milk.

Corporal Henry Proce says the daytime B&E happened on December 3.

“Thieves forced open a patio door and stole electronic devices, a flat screen TV, camera and an IPod. The entire residence appears to have been searched methodically. They even drank from a milk jug and left it on the driveway,” says Proce.

He says B&Es in the rural area are scarce and police would like to solve this one.
