Could this be true? Could our beloved Chef Gordon Ramsay really be that much of a hypocrite – touting his undying love and loyalty for wife Tana while carrying on an affair for seven years? According to the British tab News of the World, the story is true. They seem to be awfully sure of themselves that their report of the tryst is legit. Apparently, the Chef has been carrying on an affair with a blonde named Sarah Symonds, and the site is reporting that just this past week the pair met for sex at a London hotel.
If this is true, I think it may do some damage to Ramsay’s brand. Having always portrayed himself as a monogamous gentleman, a story like this will definitely steer some people away from him. It likely won’t affect his restaurant sales, but it may influence the ratings on his two big shows on Fox, Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen. I hope it’s not true, because I really like the guy. However, if this is for real, then his overall authenticity has got to come into question.
Bloody hell, Gordon. I hope it's not true.
Jean Claude still wants to do some Van Damage to the ladies
This is hilarious. Jean Claude Van Damme, star of the current indie film, JCVD, in which the former action hero pokes fun at himself, conducted an interview with Newsweek magazine and got a bit inappropriate with the young woman interviewing him. Sarah Ball, 22-year-old journalist for the magazine, must have been baffled when the interview turned into a solicitation from Van Damme.
Remember, the man is married. Is he for real? Here’s how the interview ended:
So you've no regrets at all?
Believe me—I've done very good stuff and very crazy stuff, and I don't regret the crazy stuff. So are you in New York?
Yes, I am.
And are you 27, or 32?
I ' m 22.
Oh, f–––. That is very young. Will you come to the premiere?
I don ' t know. When is it?
I don't know. You will wear all black, a black dress and high heels?
Uh —
You can come find me, I will be the one with the very broad shoulders, dark hair and a simple suit. We can have some champagne, you and me.
Van Damme wants Newsweek reporter to see his muscle from Brussel
Partying naked with Axl Rose
Lars Ulrich, drummer for Metallica, opened up to Blender magazine earlier this month, and perhaps revealed a little too much. Like having been invited to wild, naked parties thrown by Axl Rose, where orgies were not uncommon.
Thanks, Lars. Now I’m going to need a good part of the day to purge the disturbing mental image of you and Axl naked. Uggggh.
Otherwise, it’s a great interview. Enjoy!

Have the AMAs ever meant anything since the 80s?
Seriously. Does ANYONE actually care about the American Music Awards? We flipped on to it a few times last night, but I knew I’d be able to catch the performances on Youtube today.
Best performance? Sarah McLachlan and Pink with their awesome duet of Sarah’s hit, Angel. Great stuff. Catch it here:
For all you Pink haters out there - she can really SING!
What do you get when you put Twilight on supercharged high-quality steroids?
True Blood. Sure, Twilight took a huge bite of the box office this weekend with just over $70 million. But anyone over 18 will tell you that it really wasn’t that great. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if you really want to get your vampire fix, look no further than HBO’s True Blood.
True Blood aired its season finale last night, and I can guarantee you that there was much more of everything you ever wanted in a vampire drama in that one hour than you’ll ever get from Twilight or the two upcoming sequels. True Blood was a little shaky out of the gate, but week after week the show kept getting better, and last night’s finale was fantastic. If you haven’t seen the show, I’m sure HBO Canada and Movie Central will be re-airing it, so make sure you catch up. Or you can probably find them online. If you’re a fan of the show and want to know when it’s coming back, look for the second season to begin in June or July. Filming on the new season it set to begin in January.
Five full seasons into Entourage, Adrian Grenier finally ACTS.
Also airing its season finale last night was Entourage, which FINALLY had a really strong episode. This season was even worse than last season, and my wife and I were almost ready to give up. But the last few episodes have been not that bad, and last night we actually got to see Adrian Grenier ACT! Usually, Vinnie Chase is so happy-go-lucky that Grenier rarely has to do any of the heavy lifting on the acting side. Vinnie’s outburst and eventual reconciliation with longtime friend and manager, Eric, was believable and well acted. It’s about time. Hopefully, the show will continue on this newfound positive trend – it needs to or else fans are going to abandon ship.
